Haseo almost smirked as she surrendered to him. He felt her body relax in some places... while other, more personal places, tensed. It was a small victory in himself for his achievement, but a bare bit of disappointment flicked across his heart that Treble was not fighting harder. He wondered for a moment how he should correct her, whe she moaned out that she was listening. The Freyalin let the thought run through his mind several times, and finally came to a desicion. She was in love. And here she was, moaning out to him, for him. Why not teach her a lesson using the very heart she holds so dear? Never to allow an invasion of the mind. Ever. And so, the Mad God leaned forward, arms and hands slowly slipping down, one brushing against the side of her breast, in a way that almost made him recoil.

"Your Teacher is telling you to behave... and listen... and follow his lead."

He lifted her up, careful not to hurt her with his armor, before he sat down on the throne, and set her upon his lap, keeping her legs straddled on either side of him. His hand slowly slid up the back of her corset, fingers leaving light trails on her skin as he dragged them down her back, his other hand reaching up and moving through her brown curls to cup the back of her head and slowly bring her down to him, his hot breath washing over her lips. Moving in with his mouth he nearly touched her's before stopping and lowering, moving his lips to her neck, his hypnotic waves continuing to weave in on the poor child's mind. He moved his lips, which were expertly moving and pulling at her neck up along her jaw and across her chin, before reaching her mouth. He did not kiss her though, only leaning forward and let his upper lip touch against her's.

The next move would be her's as he breathed heavilly against her, his hand working down to curl dangerously around her thigh. And this would truly be a lesson for her to remember. Whether it be one of the heart or the body would fall to her, and her ability to resist.

Treble couldn’t take her eyes off of Haseo. He was bringing fire to parts of her body that she had never before thought fire could be brought to, and even though she knew his mind was in hers, that he was seducing her, she didn’t care, this was something she couldn’t control, didn’t want to control, for that matter. Her mind briefly tried to tell her to stop, to not let him control the situation like this, but she couldn’t help it. He had started the lesson, he had initiated her response, and she couldn’t stop it now, not for anything in the world. ”Oh but darling Treble, what of Ivan? And your love for him? This will kill him, and possibly ruin you two. Not that I am complaining. Seeing you hurt is what I live for, but I would hate for you to do something you regret, and then lose control.” Her evil counterpart snickered at her, but for once, Zorrinna’s words, even though they were said with malice and hate, struck Treble, they struck her like a cold slap to the face. Her mind recoiled at the thought, and her hand briefly went to her heart, as if trying to stop it from feeling. Even as her mind was protesting to Haseo’s invasion, her body was gladly accepting his presence.

A strangled gasp escaped her lips as his hand brushed the side of her breast, and every thought of Ivan left her mind. Acting on instinct, Treble lifted her hands to Haseo’s shoulders, resting them there lightly, as he told her to Behave, Listen, and follow his lead. She gladly accepted his command, and as she nodded, he lifted her and sat her down on his lap. Her body surged with want, with need, with fire.

“Teacher……” Her words were barely a whisper, as his fingers skimmed up and down her back. She had a sudden urge to rip the corset from her body, wanting her flesh against his, but she bit down hard on that urge, and continued to stare into his yellow eyes. When his hand snaked up her back and through her hair, a soft moan found its way out of her mouth, and a small smile graced her lips, making them curve in a, what she hoped was seductive but in all actuality was as seductive as a child’s, grin. When Haseo brought her head closer to his, Treble was almost sure he was going to kiss her, but then his mouth stopped mere moments from hers, and his breath caressed her lips almost like a kiss, she groaned, before she could lean closer and complete the kiss, his lips were gone, torturing her neck.

A shudder went through Treble’s body, making her ache in her most private of places. Her breasts had become like fire, her nipples tight little peaks, that begged to be let free and fondled. She moved her hands from his shoulder’s, one crawling down his chest, and resting on his armor, directly above his heart, while the other creeped up the back of his neck, and wound in his blood red hair as his lips moved from her neck, to her jaw, and finally to her mouth. He wouldn’t kiss her though, something she wanted so badly, instead he gently let his upper lip rest against hers, in a move that sent even more chills up her spine. As his hand curled around her thigh, Treble couldn’t take it anymore. She pushed her head foreword, only enough so that her lips completely took his, and she kissed him. Her tongue gently found its way out of her mouth and ran across his bottom lip, before parting his lips, entering his mouth and caressing his tongue. The hand that was on his armor found its way to his cheek and there she rested it, as she continued to kiss him, butterflies pounding her stomach, and want pulsing through her veins.

Slowly, and stiffly, the Freyalin stood from the bed, his tails still resting on it, the white fur matted with sweat, as was the red tips. They barely managed to thump on the bed for a moment, against the now, very much ruined silk red sheets. His body was sweaty and warm, very unlike his usually cool temperature. He slowly looked down his naked body, watching the sweat roll down his scarred chest and arms and shoulders and... well... every where there were scars for the sweat to run down and over and across. The Freyalin attempted to stand for a moment, but found his knees too weak, and quickly returned at least his rump to the bed.

And so, his "lesson" for Treble had become a lesson for himself, as well. He looked over his shoulder to the equally sweat covered Treble, and equally nude, though she had the decency of a sheet covering her. His eyes traced over her face and then over her curly locks of hair. He wanted to reach out and stroke her face with his long, pale fingers. To run his hands through her hair. To stare into her cobalt eyes, to do any number of these things and so many more... but he didn't. He forced his legs to obey, and stood up, tall and proud, tails thrashing behind him. But he offered himself one, small moment of weakness, when one of his tails slowly trailed along her hand, and internally shuddered at the feeling of it, eyes nearly sliding closed.

He stepped onto his leather pants that were heaped up on the floor as he stepped away from the bed, mists covering his body and encasing him once again in his metal and class armor, crimson half cloak swirling out from underneath of it, as if of its own accord, swirling around until set right, and a golden medallion with a snake's head carved into it, appeared set on his half cloak, as if a brooch to hold it in place, slightly to the left of being off center of his right shoulder. And then came his swords, set upon his back, over his cloak. He slowly strode away from the bed, booted feet clicking on on the ground of the room. He kneeled down, near the two thrones, and picked up Treble's split red corset, holding it lightly between his two fingers, before bursting it into flames with a narrowing of his eyes, using his pyrokenesis and dropping the ruined garment to the floor with a slight chuckle.

He knew that would probably have infuriated her, but, disregarding it, for the moment. He slowly waved his hand, while forming his fingers into intricate patterns and manuevers, a greenish magick forming along his hand as a red pillar of light rose in front of him. It actually was a long process, when compared to most of the magick that Haseo employed. It was taking, so far alone, over twenty seconds. Most of Haseo's castings took only a second, if that. But when it began to stretch into a full minute, it definitely meant Haseo was doing something power consuming. The red pillar rose from the ground and slowly began to shrink and twist. At first, part of it turned into stone, and in the shape of a woman... strangely the same size as Treble. Over top of that the red energy split down, twisting and reforming, into what appeared to be chest armor, a dark red color.

The armor dipped once it covered the breasts of the statue in a rounded fashion, to both protect, hold, and support, and then moving inwards, dipping past the statue's cleavage, till about the middle of her ribs, making an almost 'V' like symbol. From the 'breasts of the statue, the protection ran down along the sides, and then curved to go across the sides of its ribs, and go up along its back to the neck, where it was attached to a collar like ornament, long and slender, just like Treble's neck. The armor around her belly had a hole around the belly, to expose clearly the celestial sun tattoo Haseo had spotted on her stomach during their... more physical working. The armor, generally, looked like a corset in its own right, except that it trailed down to also cover, or pretend to, her nether regions and rear. What would cover her thighs would be something very much akin to stockings, except that they weren't made of flimsy cloth. None of the armor so far was, rather being made of a flexable metal laced with leather.

The boots started at about the knees, and ended, not in heels like her other boots had, but rather in a flat soled boot, on the back of the heel a small blade jutted out, able to be used as a weapon as well. Moving his attention back up, Haseo began concentrating on working about the arm protectors of her armor. He rather liked her tattoo on her shoulder, the celtic knotted one with those words that he read, in the Latin language, "I won't forget".

Haseo made a mental note to ask her about that at some later point.

Instead, he made long, gauntlets that went up to her elbows, and curled up lightly with mesh-mail. The right hand guard was slightly larger than the left, having a piece that curled around her knuckles, studded with dark gems. He'd included these gems specifically to help Treble continue casting her magick for longer durations. Haseo looked over the armor for a moment, before waving his hand once more, and a blue gem set itself in the collar of the armor. He looked it over a final time, before speaking to Treble, though not turning to face her, as his emotions flickered a bit, slightly excited and anxious at whether she would like it or not. "These are yours, if you choose to take them, as I doubt your clothing is suitable to wear anymore." The process had taken over a full ten minutes to complete, and Haseo was severely pleased with the results, though he felt he may do it again if she didn't like it, without a second thought about it.

Post by Treble Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:18 pm

As she lay on her side, her arm tucked under her chest, on the bed that she had just lost her innocence in, Treble sighed. She had just finished the most amazing "lesson" of her life, and now, basking in the after glow, she watched the very naked Haseo get up from their bed. His tails lounging on the silken yet soaked red sheets. She shuddered once, and ran her hands down her sweat covered arms, infact, her arms weren't the only things that were sweat covered: her whole body was as well. All the way from her toes, to the back of her neck. Her hair was a glorious mass of messy tangles and silken strands, that framed her face and body all the way down to her abdomen, gently tickling her navel. She grinned as he sat back down, her body reacting to his mere pressence in a way she would never understand, but appreciated still. Her heart beat fastly, for she knew that she had taken as much as he had, her body had demanded as much as his. And to top it all off, he looked as if she had taken so much from him he couldn't function! With a satisfied grin creeping across her lips, she closed her eyes,

She felt, before she saw, him looking at her, and her eyes flew open. He was staring at her so intently, she was sure he could see her heart beat in her chest. He looked as if he wanted to reach out to her...to touch, and hug, and cuddle. Her arm moved a bit towards him, but she stopped. She knew better than to approach him for affection, she knew how he would react. He would scowl, and growl, and maybe even lash out, which was something she didn't want to deal with at the moment. At the thought of lashing out, her mind briefly flashed back to the creature he had become in a previous lesson. My god...Did I really just lose my last piece of innocence to that? She wondered. Her eyes, usually crystal clear cobalt, darkend a bit, almost as if storm clouds had invaded her sight. She shuddered again, but this time not out of pleasure, out of fear, and she shrank back into the bed a little. When he stood, she cowered back even more, sure that he was going to say something crude, rude, or down right nasty. When one of his tails flicked back and caressed her hand, she jerked back quickly, the gentleness of it startling her. As he walked to his pants, she had a perfect view of his behind, and the scars that lined his back. She so badly wanted to cuddle him, running her fingers along each and every scar. But she knew that was not a possibility. When you got involved with someone like Haseo, tenderness, affection displayed openely, just didn't happen.

Her eyes narrowed a bit as he picked up her corset, her favorite one actually, and she shouted a bit as it burst into flames. Did he have the power of Pyrokenesis? She growled low in her throat as he dropped the corset and she was just about to scold him, when he started to do magic. She quickly sat up in the bed, her hair tumbling down the right side of her face only, leaving the left side bare. She stared intently at what he was doing, always prepared to counter attack. Her hands gathered the sheet up to her chest and she scootched her way to the end of the bed, and knelt there, on her knees, watching him. He was doing something strange with his hands, they were moving and flowing together, soft green...something eeked from his hands. As she stared, some sort of...was it a pillar? a red one, and, it looked like it was only light, rose from the ground. She couldn't believe it was taking him so long to perform magic, which told her either it was very powerful, very complicated, or a combination of both. Treble was puzzled as she saw a stone figure, and then she realized it was a woman, a woman who had a striking resemblance to herself.

Her eyes went wide at the next thing that she saw. He was creating armor, and not just any type of armor, bad ass armor. Her eyes quickly scanned the whole of the body, running over the low dip inbetween the breasts, to the...was that a collar? all the way down to the boots, which weren't heeled, but that was ok, her heeled boots had started to kill her feet. Treble's hands quickly went to her stomach, fingering the Celestial Sun Tattoo, and then to her arm where she had her most sacred tattoo, one that reminded her exactly what happened when one lost themselves to the throws of love. She shook her head quickly, erasing the memories from her mind, and focused back on the armor. She noticed the small blade that was attached to the back of the boot, and she became giddy with excitment, before a thought came crashing into her: What if he is only doing this to toy with me? To torture me? I'll kill him, and then take the armor anyways. She thought, her head nodding slightly. She smiled at the gauntlets, they were, as was everything else, amazing. As he cast his spell and made the armor, she stared at him, this man, this devil, and her heart did odd little flip flops. She was having a hard time believing that she was actually here...with him...

Once the armor was finished, she watched him, hope steadily rising in her stomach. She watched him looking it over, and then he nodded, almost as if to...reassure himself of something. She didn't know what that could possibly be, because the armor was perfect, absolutley perfect! She slowly crawled off of the bed and inched closer to the armor, her sheet forgotten and left behind. Her body swaying slightly almost as if caught in a trance. When he spoke, and told her that the armor was hers, a gasp escaped her lips, her breathing became light and labored, and her vision swam. He had actually made them for her, actually made her something so beautiful, that she was sure it would make her a vision to behold, just by wearing them. She slowly walked up to the armor, and her fingers lightly trailed the frame, her finger tips brushing lightly over every aspect of the protection. She turned to Haseo, her voice filled with emotion and said, "H-H-Haseo... You would make me something so beautiful? Something that is meant to protect me? I-I-I love it! It is...everything I could ever ask for, and so much more." Her voice, horse from the deep felt emotions, let out a loud giggle and she rushed into his arms, hugging him, and kissing his neck and cheeks. She was rarely given gifts, but this one...this one was the most special. Her hands crawled around to his back, and caressed the top of his tail, as she hugged him. She knew she was seeking affection and love, but damn the gods for the consequences, she wanted this, she wanted it so bad.

Haseo was quick to note her excitement, and supressed a smile. It wasn't just to give her something that he had made the armor, but it was also to protect and enhance her during the training... as well as a few other things. Haseo internally smirked at her, though kept his face rather blank. And then she crashed into him with an embrace, crying out with joy over the armor. It made Haseo blink hard, and his face warm a little to know that he'd done something to cause her such joy. Which was odd, considering while she was on the bed she was feeling a little bit of fear, and then when he'd begun casting, a wariness that surprised him. Like she was worried he would attack her. He felt almost guilty, knowing that he'd instilled such fears into her, but given what she had known of him for all of her life... he was not surprised any longer.

But then, she did the oddest of things.

She ran, right to him, sheet falling away, and hugged his now armored and rigid form with her still sweat covered, nude one. She was naked and touching him again, and the very thought sent shivers across the Freyalin, even more so when she suddenly gripped the bases of his tails. It was so pleasurable for him, but he forced himself to remain rigid, to remain strong in the face of this new and concerning feeling, the feeling of being wanted and needed... At least for a few more moments. He slowly, and hesitantly, snaked his tails up and around her thighs, holding her to him. His tails were so much more flexible than that of a normal fox's, allowing him to make such movements and hold her against him as he was.

Remembering what they were actually meant to be doing, he slowly, but gently, pulled from her, and raised his hand at her. It was a motion that he'd done many times, though his palm was usually filled with a small cluster of green flaming comets that was then blasted into an enemies face. But this time, a single beam of red light clicked from his hand and buried itself into Treble in an instant, and began to spread over her, forming into the armor to cover her naked body. Haseo didn't miss the chance to drink in her nude form while it lasted, burning it into his mind. It started slowly, like a slithering mass covering her body, and forming into the elegant, yet unmistakably deadly, design. He pulled back, admiring the show as her private places were finally covered, and then the collar formed around her neck, the blue jewel shining, making Haseo's smirk grow.

And then they began to grow along her arms and legs, still slithering at that agonizingly slow pace. Haseo grinned as the uppermost parts of her thighs and biceps were left bare, for his viewing pleasure, and his eyes slowly trailed along the tattoo upon her stomach. It was left to plain view, as he had hoped. And then his eyes fell along the rest of the armor, nodding satisfied as it all seemed to fit perfectly, at least to his eyes, the metal and leather forming tightly to her skin. He slowly walked around to inspect her, up and down, eyes lingering more than once on her face, and several marks left on her neck left by him. He stopped, once in front of her again, and nodded appraisingly. "Very nice, if I do say so myself. Oh, and the armor looks good too." He smirked heavilly at her, before turning and walking a short distance, clenching his hand into a fist for only a moment, changing their enviroment again. They now stood in a swamp that had lights floating all around it, bobbing slowly. They did not sink into the water, however, only standing on the top of it, feet making the water swirl and shimmer slightly in the pale moonlight. Anyone who believed that swamps could be the absolute symbols of death, were a fool in Haseo's eyes. The swamps were teeming with life, though not particularly lovely life. But it WAS life none-the-less. At that very moment, he could hear a myriad of creatures chirping, cricketing, or croaking, some hissing. Of course, he also had exceptional hearing and could hear a mouse's heartbeat from ten yards.

He moved on slowly, and with a light gesture of his hand, beckoned Treble to follow him, deeper into the mist enshrouded swamp. Leading her, only he knew where.

Student and Teacher **Completed** - Page 2 Empty Re: Student and Teacher **Completed**

Post by Treble Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:19 pm

Treble was shocked when Haseo actually embraced her with his tails. She had quickly come to realize that his tails acted as arms, caressing, loving, and holding. His armor was cold against her bare skin, but somewhere in the last, god only knew how long they had been training, she had lost her modesty around him. In fact, aside from the occasional fear of what he could do, she felt quite comfortable with him. She knew this probably had something to do with the fact that he had taken her most sacred of gifts, but she didn’t care. She was just glad there was someone she could feel at ease with. She couldn’t even do that completely with Ivan. Yes, she had cared for him, but she hadn’t loved him. A sickening thought came to Treble then, one that almost made her wretch. My god! Not with Haseo… I…the thought…what I mean…do I? She shuddered, and then realized that Haseo could probably hear her thoughts so she pushed them as far into the back of her mind as was humanly possible.

When again she focused on Haseo, she felt the fear again. He was holding his palm up to her and she saw a beam of red light shoot from his hand directly into her. She let out a small gasp, quickly followed by a whimper as the light pierced through her body. Although, what it felt like was nothing like what she expected. It was nothing like a laser piercing her flesh like she believed. She was sure that he was going to kill her, that the truly evil Haseo, the one who had stolen the child and spoke in a weird way, was back and was going to kill her. But, it was warm simply warm nothing more, nothing less. Granted, it didn’t feel too great, but she could live with it. She didn’t know what he was doing at first, but she felt weird things happening to her body. At first it was a mildly unpleasant heat, but soon it turned to something that made her shudder a bit. It felt like her body was being invaded by thousands of bugs. Her eyes shot to Haseo’s looking for some sort of reassurances, but all she met was his stony gaze as he focused on the magic.

She was to afraid to move at first, not wanting to mess up whatever he was doing, but then she felt what he was doing, as the armor he had created encased her slowly. She was glad that he was allowing her to dress now because she was getting that weird butterfly flop in her stomach whenever Haseo stared at her body. And stare he did. She had caught him so many times, just staring at her that she almost blushed. Her hands flew to her throat as the collar formed there, her eyes narrowing, she almost told him to remove it, but she hadn’t the heart, he had made all of this for her, and she would take it all happily, even if it meant succumbing to him, and becoming his “pet”. At the thought of becoming his anything, her stomach flip flopped again, and she sighed inwardly. As the armor warped and wrapped around her body, she started looking at it. She loved it all, from the deep dip between her breasts, and the fact that it showed all of her tattoos. Her hand went to her abdomen and for the briefest of moments she thought of children, but she knew that wasn’t going to happen any time soon, so she pushed that thought into the back of her mind, right next to the one about…well about what she was thinking of at that moment. She fingered the outline of her tattoo, and then she ran an arm up her left arm, over her other tattoo, but when she did this, she grimaced a little, almost as if it hurt to touch it. She looked down at the rest of her body, as the armor slowly formed the rest of the way down. She lifted one foot and then the other, testing out the new boots, which were extremely comfortable, thank the gods, she was tired of the heeled boots, they hurt like hell.

As she lifted her arms to see how the armor moved with her body, making sure it wasn’t constricting, her breasts lifted happily, enjoying the partial freedom they had in her new outfit. Looking at her hands, she liked what she saw, one hand, her right one, had dark gems streamed across the knuckles. This will make for not only interesting spell casting, but also punching. She thought darkly. Seeming satisfied with the way the armor fit, and the way it looked, Treble looked up at Haseo, only to find him circling her, studying her every shape and curve. She couldn’t help but grin as his eyes found hers; he had some type of…something, about him, that made her go weak in the knees. Her face broke out into an all out grin that would shame even the Cheshire cat when he said Very nice, if I do say so myself. Oh, and the armor looks good too." She did a sort of twirl and watched looked down at herself, loving her new armor more than she would ever say.

As he walked away from her their surroundings changed. They changed to something that made Treble quiver slightly inside of her new armor. She looked down and saw that she was standing on top of water, and almost lost her balance. Gaining her footing, she quickly walked…no ran as fast as she could, to Haseo’s side. “What are we doing here teacher? And why must it be a swamp? You KNOW how I feel about certain… reptiles.” She asked, her voice an octave higher than what she intended it to be, going back to the student teacher mode, knowing that her feelings for him would have to wait until later, after all, she was training to be the devil.

Student and Teacher **Completed** - Page 2 Empty Re: Student and Teacher **Completed**

Post by Haseo Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:20 pm

The Freyalin chuckled at the woman, wanting nothing more than to turn around and embrace her tightly in his tails and run his fingers through her hair, but he simply continued walking, fighting off his desires for her. He settled on the feelings that had sustained him for the past ten thousand years. The ones of his pride, anger, and anguish letting the feelings rise up from his chest. He quickly looked over to her, his brow knit, "Don't be alarmed... I'm simply focusing on my next lessons to teach you... And to distract myself from... other... things." He forced his mouth into a tight frown, though his insides melted a little. He mentally shook them off, and stared ahead, leading her as they walked through the swamps of his birth.

They were never quiet, and he waved a ball of light away from him, as the something large began to come in view through the heavy mists. It was a very large buidling, and it almost looked like a ziggarut. It was very old, and the swamps slowly began to fill with skeletons, not nearly as ancient as the building that Haseo now led Treble to. They littered the ground in mass. Some where tall, and their bone structures massive. Others were short and stout, though no less dense... but they had old, rotted beards growing from their jaw bones. Dwarves. Those and humans littered this battlefield, as well as the An'Gelus defenders of the Temple, and the An'Gelus supporters of the King. The ones who had taken to Haseo and Hatake's side. But the battlefield... it was almost as old as Haseo himself. He knew that in the real planes of his world, the skeletons had long since crumbled to dust, but the last time he'd visited, this was how it had appeared to the troubled Freyalin. And the building itself stirred memories...

"This is the Temple, which had once dominated the religion of my planet. It was a terrible regime. People were not free to express themselves, and any who disagreed with the Temple openly were labled heretics and hunted by their dogs, the Lion Legion... It is also the place where I defeated Falzior, the devil who had driven my race to the brink of extinction." As Haseo stared at the broken vessel of a corrupt and controlling faith, he could almost see the coiling body of Falzior curling around it, with he and Hatake standing against the large serpent, Hatake's hands blazing with his awe inspiring magick, and Haseo charging the serpent, gripping his katana, Haseo no Haku, tightly between his clenched hands, each of their hair flying back, tails thrashing and wings tightly tucked to their bodies as they made quick dashing manuevers around the monstrous beast. The image was gone, replaced by another. The only opponent Haseo had never been able to defeat. A man with long, whipping white hair that moved constantly, as if caught in a permanent wind, or underwater, and midnight blue skin that reflected whatever little light there was off the sweat on his body. Only the back of the man was seen, standing near naked, but for the loin cloth he wore, to only the Freyalin's eyes alone as he recalled his memories associated with this place. How he hated that figure and at the same time was completely mystified with the simple phantom of the being, even more so when he thought of the absolute awe that passed through him when the two had actually fought. Master Adrastos.

Oh, Master. How could I ever thank you for what you had taught me? This is the only way I know how... by now passing it to someone I think is worthy.

He had to physically shake his head and blink the image away from his sight. In that moment, he felt very small indeed as they finally stood in front of the massive construct, a small mountain in its own right. "My brother and I had fought valiantly with allies uncountable... fighting for our very rights to live, and to avenge our fallen people, whom we knew nothing about. The people who were gone now, leaving us alone in the world as the last two creatures of our race... of our culture. A culture we knew only through the ruins that they left behind. Sarsilic. It means forgotten, if I remember correctly." Haseo slowly began to walk up the long expanse of the endless stairs. The stairs he and Hatake had to fight hordes of legions to reach the waiting Falzior, standing and mocking them in the form of an An'Gelus with blue hair, gripping his sword tightly.

Again the Freyalin had to shake himself from his reverie. He simply continued his trek up the stairs, content that Treble was there with him to bear the memories with, to share his story with. His body always felt heavy, whether in his own mind, or in physical form, when he approached the top of the Temple. Something just always made a sense of dread creep into the Freyalin's soul, no matter how much hate and anger and rage he tried to bury it beneath. Haseo was a determined person though, and would not be denied that which he wished to do. And so, he continued to talk. "We fought in a cataclysmic battle, testing ourselves against this being that had wiped away our entire race on a whim. We had become the strongest that was to be offered from the Freyalins, champions of our sacred dead Ancestors. With determination and fury, we battled against that devil of our forgotten past, letting our greatest of spirits flow through us and guide our strikes as a teacher would guide a student, just as I am now, through their training. It seemed an eternity we fought, always coming to the crushing fear that we would fail, that all the allies that we had brought with us would fall and become nothing but dust as Falzior turned his rage on them for our arrogance in presuming we were stronger than he. We thought he'd wipe all life out on this planet, the way that his breath swept over us." Haseo stopped his ascension, and looked down, thinking on that for a moment.

"It seems I did what I had feared from another..."

Haseo let his rage consume him for a moment, fiercely glaring at the next set of stairs in front of him, nearly snarling, before forcing his face into a simple scowl that scrunched his nose softly, and knit his eyebrows, continuing the climb. "It is also here, that I fought the one I had only known as Master at the time. I learned, during our fight, that his name was Adrastos. Master Adrastos. He taught me a lesson in the way of the weapon that I will never, ever forget, Treble. He taught me of the feelings that you will feel as you clash with an enemy who's heart is truly in the weapon that they wield. With every swing of his mighty battle-rod, that nearly knocked me from my feet and Zaknafein from my grasp, I felt his desire for death. His desire for glory and his indomitable will to fight. He... he told me that he found my attacks very sad. Not because they were weak... but because I fought with a weight in my heart, an anger that only covered my pain. And so we fought like that, for two days, neither giving any quarter or relieve. I didn't think much of what he said until he gave me that final strike. We had locked our weapons together, each of us beaten and bloody. And as I looked into his eyes, I faltered. For in them, I saw tears. Tears, Treble. I asked him what his tears were for, and he replied simply that he could not bear the pain that beat into his heart each time my blade met his rod. Pulling back and allowing my sword to cut his leg, he kicked me with such force it sent me rocketing through the air and into a small mountain within this swamp. I had never, even against Falzior, felt something as maginificent as that battle. And I don't know if I ever will again."

Haseo finally reached the top of the Temple. The walk had been long, but so had the story, to him, making time seem to fly. He looked down at the swamp and mists that surrounded them, before walking to the middle of the Temple's top, calling to Treble, "Draw your blade. We will lay our souls out for each other to witness. Together, we will see what color our souls bleed out as they clash, and will witness their strength." He did not draw one of the longswords on his back, nor the wakizashi. No, he held a hand out, and an orb of light formed at the tips of his curling fingers. From the orb, a long blade began to emerge. It was nearly as tall as Haseo, and the blade was completely made of obsidian stone, the edges jagged and rough, while near the base several runes were carved into it. The hilt was square, with a jewel set in the middle of it, green that glowed and swirled with a power of neither darkness nor light, while the hilt guards curled out like horns. The handle of the hilt was long, nearly as long as Haseo's forearm, and the pommel was tipped with a black skull, small though, and made to look as if the entire weapon came forth from its mouth. Red leather was wrapped around the handle as well, to sever as grips.

"Zaknafein...", Haseo muttered to himself, rather than Treble, and moved the ancient runeblade in front of him, resting its long lenght along his palm. "We must not kill this one Zaknafein... she means much to me. But we must let her see our souls. See what it is that lies within, and let her see with eyes unclouded by hate, love, or even battle. Let her see the truest essence that is within us, so that we may see the same of her." The Freyalin slowly looked up. "Do you hear me, Treble? I want to see your soul in this fight. Show me what it is that is nestled within your heart. Show me... everything."

And with that, Haseo stood still as thunderclouds rolled overhead, all by the will of Haseo. His eyes stared at Treble, and his heart pined for her, though he set up a strong block between her and himself, so that she would feel nothing that he felt through her empathic powers, and he the same of her.

Treble quickly followed after Haseo through the wooded area, her heart beating rapidly, not at the prospect of that which crept in the shadows, but of the lesson to come. She knew that what had just happened between her and the freyalin was life altering, nothing would ever be the same again, and yet, she also knew that she had to continue with the lessons, her feelings for him not withstanding. As he started to speak she grinned, knowing exactly what was on his mind, the same being on hers also. Shaking her head, she shoved all feelings of anything but concentration deep from her mind and focused on the rather large structure coming up in the distance. As they neared the building a ball of light approached the pair, and Haseo quickly waved the thing away. She wanted to ask what it was, but he looked so focused on the building, she wasn't even sure he would hear her, so she kept her questions to herself for the moment. As they came upon the building, Treble's stomach recoiled a bit at the ghastly sight that unfolded before her eyes. Everywhere she looked there was carnage, and she wasn't sure she quite understood. Some of the bodies where those of the An'Guelus, a race she knew a bit about, not much, but enough to know what they looked like; there were dwarves and humans also scattering the battlefield outside of what looked to be some sort of temple. This must be a battlefield he is remembering. She thought quietly to herself.

As they walked through the field and into the temple, Haseo started to speak. Treble knew the words were meant for her ears, so she listened, but she wasn't sure even Haseo himself knew that he was speaking. He seemed lost in memories she couldn't see. And looking into his mind to see just what he was thinking went against her beliefs, so she walked with the Freyalin, she walked and listened to his story of an epic battle, a battle so big, it shook the very core of the heavens. Her eyes widened as he spoke of Falzior and the battle between the great serpent and the two brothers, she wanted to reach out and touch his arm, an offering of comfort of memories past, and yet, she wasn't sure if the compassion would be received well. So she pulled herself back a little, leaving her feelings back in the bed they had shared, and followed Haseo to the top of the tower, a walk that took forever, but with the telling of the story, seemed to go by quickly enough. As they walked, Treble became increasingly aware of a heaviness that had settled over Haseo's very soul, something she couldn't understand. He had won the battle... He and his brother had prevailed over Falzior, so why was he so...

"It seems I did what I had feared from another..."

Ahh, that's the problem, Treble thought to herself. She gave into her feelings of compassion then and reached for him, but as she did she felt the rage rolling off of him in droves of white hot anger and quickly recoiled. Before she even had a chance to ponder the reason for the anger, it was gone, and a scowl sat on his face that made him look somewhat like a pouting child, which made her love him all the more. Grinning slightly, she continued to follow him up the treacherous stairs, listening to his deep voice speak of another battle, this time with someone by the name of Master Adrastos; a name she had never heard before, and from the sounds of it, she was glad of that. All too quickly, they were at the top of the temple and Haseo was staring at her intently. She wasn't sure what to expect, but she knew she was about to learn another lesson, possibly the most important one of all.

Treble watched intently as Haseo pulled a sword out of thin air, a sword she recognized immediately as Zaknafein. Her insides trembled slightly at the sight of the sword, not fear of the wielder, but fear of actual sword. It was Haseo's most prized possession, and in all actuality, Treble wasn't sure if Haseo really owned Zaknafein, for they seemed to work more as a team than owner and object. As he spoke to his sword, Treble slowly drew her own sword, Zwaard. It sang as it came from its sheath, its deep blue blade softly glowing cobalt as Treble held it in her hands. The hilt was black with deep blue sapphires encrusted along both sides. The leather wrapping was black and tight, making for a good grip. She held Zwaard loosely in her grip, comfortable with the feel of her most beloved sword. Raising it, she gently touched the blade, and the cobalt glow slowly crept to her hand, almost as if a warm caress from the depths of the blade. "Ahh, there you are Zwaard. It would appear that Haseo wishes us to fight him and Zaknafein. Think you we can take them?" In response, the blade's glow deepened, the edges rimming in red. "Oh no Zwaard, we must not kill him, but fight him as if our very souls depended on it, for I believe they might." The red slowly edged away from the glow so that it was simply deep cobalt and Treble raised her gaze to Haseo's and smiled softly. "You wish for me to bear my soul as we fight Haseo-San, then my soul you shall see."

Closing her eyes, Treble centered herself with Zwaard, the hilt humming softly in her firm, yet loving grip, and she focused on nothing but the beat of her heart. This, in essence, was her soul, her very being. As she stood there, the wind softly blowing her hair back and away from her face, Treble saw herself standing there, holding Zwaard, concentrating on opening her soul, for bearence to the man she believed she was in love with. As she drew the last breath of a count of thirty, her eyes flew open, no longer their natural color of cobalt, but instead a deep, pure, brilliant blue. Her skin glowed softly, the same color as the glow on her blade, and the softest of smiles caressed her face. She did not rush the waiting Freyalin, instead, she circled him, moving ever so closer with each rotation until she was but a breath from him. When it looked as if she was to touch him, she quickly flew high into the air Zwaard raised high above her head, and flipped over Haseo. As she landed on the other side of him, Zwaard came crashing down, aimed at the back of the Freyalin's head.

As the sword crashed through the air, coming closer to Haseo, Treble opened her heart to the attack, putting everything she had into it. The joy of what she had learned while under the tutelage of her teacher, the sorrow of her lonely childhood, her hopes, dreams, wishes, fears, angers, and loves all combined into one as they bled through her body and into Zwaard, the purity of her soul closing around her body and weapon, almost making her weep in remembrance of things long since forgotten.

Mists swirled around Haseo as Treble's blade came soaring towards his head, and the Freyalin turned a half circle to block the blade, dark runes shining suddenly and a glow, no an absolute abscence of light that sucked all around it till it looked black, flashing along Zaknafein as the blades met, parrying in the same motion as the mists encased all but his head. He gave a short hop away from Treble, and landed a small distance away, out of the mists that now faded into nothingness. He now stood in a new set of armor, black like his previous, but much different. And yet, some how suiting.

The shoulder armor had formed over top his half cloak, the spaulders forming into the shapes of snake heads, the mouth's open wide and long fangs bared. The breastplate was rather solid, and, a strange thing for Haseo's normally flashy self, was rather undecorated but for the snake medallion brooch that still held his cloak in place. His boots had formed into snake heads as well around his feet. His fingers, as ever, were exposed so that he could use his claws as weapons, though there were now spikes on his knuckles. The Freyalin gave a short leap into the air, though not towards Treble, no, he leapt backwards, his blade lashing out in the air, actually cutting the air.

Haseo pushed all of his feelings of frustration, inadequecy from his younger years, and the small flicker of a feeling he was now beginning to feel. The feelings of hope for a new future. His tails had also warped slightly, the fur now standing on end, each one a deadly needle. And, now as they swung as he twisted around, they both launched several of the pins towards Treble. But the Freyalin was not done yet, oh no. As he landed with a loud clunk (His armor wasn't exactly light), he tossed Zaknafein up into the air, gripping hold of the leather wrappings around the hilt and spinning it and spinning it.. the leather actually becoming longer until the runeblade was a deadly weapon that could be used almost like a whip, but different. As though the whip had a giant spearhead for a tip. Haseo grinned widely. "Do tell me you're ready, pet."

Student and Teacher **Completed** - Page 2 Empty Re: Student and Teacher **Completed**

Post by Treble Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:22 pm

Treble watched the mists swirling around Haseo as her blade met his. There was a loud *clink* The two metals hitting, sparking, meeting for the first time, almost as if saying "Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you my sworded brother." As the blades struck one another, Treble mentally pushed herself to Haseo, allowing him to see her innermost feelings. Feelings that scared her, enthralled her, captivated her. She was five again, begging the sisters of the orphnage for some food, the hunger pains almost unbearable. Then she was twelve and she was walking, no running, from the orphnage and the nuns, fear ever present in her mind, images flashed through her mind, some from the far past, some from the near, but in each her emotions were strong, her heart always true.

As Haseo jumped away from her, Treble watched him intently, a small smirk on her face, which quickly turned to one of puzzlement as she saw his new armor. "Well well well, what have we here teacher? New armor?" She laughed a bit and stared at him, looking at each new piece of protection. She grimmaced a little as she saw the Main Theme of the armor...Snakes... Why did he do that? She wondered to herself. It wasn't that she was very afraid of snakes any longer, being with a practical snake god had changed her out look a bit on the slippery little creatures, but she was curious all the same. "Snakes Hassi? You go with snakes?" She pondered, almost to herself. Shrugging a bit, Treble watched with rapt attention as Haseo's tails turned deadly, the needles flying at her with deadly accuracy. Acting on impulse alone, Treble dived to the right, almost landing on her head before she tucked her head in at the last moment, and rolled up to her feet.

As she jumped up, Treble saw his sword, his beloved Zaknafien, becoming what she could only describe as a sword attached to a whip. The blood drained from her face and she mentally went through every possible attack and counter she could manage. Presperation slowly started to form on her brow as she focused on her own sword, Zwarrd's aura glowed bright blue for a moment before returning to it's original color and Treble stood there, stock still, for several long moments, staring at Haseo with the deepest of eyes she had ever had. If he paid attention to her feelings, he would know she was afraid. Not of the freyalin himself, but of failing him in what she was sure was the single most important battle she had ever had. Under the fear, she was calm, the turmoil she usually felt when in battle being replaced with calm acceptance and love. Rushing to the side of Haseo, Treble pulled out one of her daggers, which instantly became ten instead of one, and tossed them into the air. The hovered in the air for the barest of moments as Treble stared at them, and then the were off, their target...Haseo. As the daggers flew, Treble disappeared and reappeared directly behind him, her other dagger plunging toward his calf. As she attacked him, she couldn't help but remember her first fight ever. The first time she killed someone. The Snake Master had beed a formiddable foe, although, in the end, it was a fluke which allowed her to win. Thinking of the man who held her captive for longer than she liked, the blow to Haseo's calf became filled with agression, pain, hate, and above all else fear. Fear of the great serpents that had slithered around her constantly in his castle. She hadn't meant to, but the dagger began to glow brilliant blue, growing as cold and frigid as the ice worlds as it flew to her teacher's leg.

Post by Haseo Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:22 pm

When their blades met, and Haseo took in everything, it was simply through sheer force of will that he held himself composed and in his fighting stance. He swung Zaknafien over his head, each woosh like that of a whirling monster as it spun over his head. And then there were daggers soaring at him, and the Freyalin made a slight face of annoyance, hopping into the air a bit and spinning the sword attached to the leather around and around in front of him, deflecting most of the daggers. Two flew through however, each clancing off his shoulder armor, barely connecting. He landed with a loud clunk again, but Treble had vanished. He grinned to himself, knowing the tactic she was playing and debated for a moment whether he should allow the blow or not. The moment of indecision nearly cost him badly, but a quick dash forward, and there was a near mirror image of Haseo left in his place, but it shattered the moment the dagger struck its calf.

Haseo turned, ceasing the swinging of his sword and dropping it into his hands, ripping the leather binding that had been used as a whip from the blade, and the leather twisted and coiled, forming into a whip. Haseo gripped Zaknafein, the heavy sword shaking a bit, with one hand, even his strength tested at such a feat. He could feel the after math of the dagger's strike. Her fear and rage, and it stunned the Freyalin for a moment, making him cock his head to the side. He frowned a bit, and dashed forward, Zaknafein held outwards, and coming in with a battle cry, unlocking the sealed emotions within himself from so long ago. Unlocking the pain, fear, and betrayal when he felt his "Father's" blade plunge into his chest, his choking agony as he was dragged into Hell as a small boy, being punished for simply existing. He could still remember the cold hands as they gripped his body, tearing his clothes from him and leaving bruises with their calloused touches, trying to rip his body apart, breaking his bones, ripping them out of socket, tearing pieces of his flesh off.

His blade became enwrapped in a black aura that swirled and flamed around his blade, soaring toward's Treble's neck. He stopped short however, only letting the bare graces of that aura flick off the blade and reach her. The aura slowly swirled a bit, almost forming into the shape of a face near the middle of the blade, before it disappeared completely. He slowly lowered his blade, and muttered carefully, "That's enough..." He moved the blade to rest on his back, seemingly holding it there through some form of magick as there was no sheath to speak of, not even a strap to hold in. The Freyalin turned from Treble slowly, moving to the edge of the pyramid, and stared out over the swamp they were above. His hands clenched at his sides, and his eyes coldly glared at the area around him, a sudden dour mood falling over him like a dark shroud. He turned his eyes sharply at Treble, almost angry as he a thought crossed his mind, "What else do you want to learn, child?" The word was spat out, as the Freyalin was unable to dismiss the thought, the sudden worry that gripped him; that after he finished training her, she'd leave him alone, finding no further use for him. His tails hung limply at against his legs, not so animated as they'd been mere moments ago.

Student and Teacher **Completed** - Page 2 Empty Re: Student and Teacher **Completed**

Post by Treble Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:22 pm

Treble stared at Haseo, his sword now only a sword, the leather whip like thing held in his other hand. Her eyes were wide in utter shock and awe, her heart beat wildly as the Freyalin held Zaknafien in one hand. She saw him shake, saw his arm tremble and it made her respect him all the more. To know that he could wield that sword one handed was more than amazing, it was damn near impossible. As he darted foreword emotions began poring off of him, feelings, and thoughts, deep held aggressions that had Treble blinking back tears and choking back a sob. She gasped, his feelings of pain, anguish, and hatred boiling over the surface of her body until she was choking in it. It was this very reason that Treble did nothing as Haseo's blade flew to her neck, there was not a thing she could do. Her eyes were wide in horror at what she was feeling, her hands clenched tightly around Zwaard, almost like they were seeking comfort from the sword. She thought this was the end, he was so wrapped up in his emotions, he was going to end her existence right then and there, and there wasn't a thing she could do to stop herself.

At the very last possible minute, the blade stopped directly over her jugular. Treble felt the blackness lick at her neck as she tilted her head back a little. It was a weird sensation, something she wasn't sure she understood completely. Locked in the black aura was Haseo's feelings and emotions, and when they touched her skin, his feelings, for the briefest of moments, became hers, his fears were hers. As he stepped back, Treble took a ragged sigh of relief, only then realizing that she had been holding her breath the entire time. A little dizziness settled over her mind as she stood completely, staring at the back of Haseo, her body still trembling in mixed emotions, and the fear that she had almost died. She whimpered a little, her heart barely returning to normal as she looked at the ground, the sword in her hand, the vast wilderness, anything but the man that had turned away.

"What else do you want to learn, child?"

The words spat from Haseo's mouth had Treble flinging her head up and staring into his cold Freyalin eyes. She didn't understand why he was so... was that worry? Fear? Anger? She felt the emotions coming from him in droves, and it confused her that he would look at her with such...dispassion. What had she done to incur the wrath of him? Lifting Zwaard into the air, the blade disappeared in a swirl of cobalt smoke as Treble stepped foreword, closer to him. She set a stony gaze on him, one he had taught her so very often. And although her face was expressionless, if he looked, Haseo would see the hurt that he would speak to her like that hidden in her eyes.

"Learn? What else do I want to learn? Oh I'm not so sure Teacher. If you have taught me everything you care to teach, then perhaps I should leave his greatnesses sight, I don't want you to hurt yourself teaching someone like me." She spat to him as she turned on her heels, fully intending to walk out...until she realized there was nowhere for her to go. Spinning back to glare at him, tears in her eyes, Treble growled, "Why don't you just show me how to get the hell away from you."

Post by Haseo Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:23 pm

Haseo reeled on the inside as she suddenly shot her head up and glared at him with perfected stony eyes. A look that he'd perfected over the centuries. She lifted her blade and for a moment Haseo believed that she was going to strike out at him, but the blade swirled away in smoke, making the Freyalin relax. But only slightly. He couldn't stop the events he'd set into motion, and Haseo wasn't sure if he could. Her face was one of emptiness, though her eyes were attempting to hide the effect his terrible words had on her. With horror, Haseo watched as she turned around, intending to leave, his eyes wide and his eyebrows raised high in his panic, like a deer caught in headlights.

Haseo's blood ran colder than usual, and his mouth suddenly dried out as she whirled on him and he saw the tears. The tears that he'd caused. He was an old, evil being. He'd caused more pain than many a devil could claim to mortals, but seeing the young, soon-to-be crowned devil made his insides quake and pain grip his heart. He averted his eyes however, looking at somewhere around her throat, and reached up to slowly draw his hood over his head, shadowing over a good portion of his face, and slowly walked past her, intending to show her the way out. Haseo drew his cloak tight around himself and, as he passed her, focused his eyes on the ground. Haseo gently began to play with the ends of his cloak as he led her away from the temple, the ripped, rough, and simple fabric his shield against the world and everything around him, and, at the moment, his shield against Treble's hard glare and her tears.

Haseo began slipping away, shutting his emotions down so he couldn't feel a thing, as he turned and looked at her, the only visible part of him his glowing eyes and everything below his nose, and said quietly, "Follow me, and you can leave." The Freyalin's voice shook at the last word, but he turned quickly on his heel and stomped off, a million thoughts racing through his head, the loudest one being, 'Why don't I just apologize?' He didn't think that apologizing was an option, not with what he'd said. He silently damned himself over and over in his head, again slipping his arms up into the folds of his cloak and holding it tightly around himself, as his head bowed low. He had no idea what to say anymore, and let a quiet, dull sadness hang in his heart. He wanted to turn and fall to his knees and beg her to stay, not to go and leave him alone again. But he couldn't. A number of things stopped him. One of the biggest things being his pride... and his fear of being rejected for begging.

He didn't know if it would hurt worse to be rejected now, than this angry, tearful glare that Treble had levelled on himself. Haseo growled to himself lowly, reprimanding himself for being a coward, and also for allowing himself to experience such emotions in the first place. It was not for him, he told himself over and over. He was not meant to be a sappy fool, who felt things such as love, caring, fear.

...

'Then why can't I stop feeling them about Treble...?' The thought made him suddenly stop in his step, and stand completely erect, though with his head remaining bowed. His hands clenched tightly underneath the fold of his cloak, and the Freyalin desperately wanted to turn to Treble and say something, wanted to at least apologize. But... what was he supposed to apologize for?

"What am I supposed to say? 'Oh, Treble, I'm so sorry I'm a volatile asshole who doesn't know how to control his mouth. Who can't control his emotions and just ends up causing you pain and would probably, in the long run end up being a total prick to you'? Yes, I'm certain that would go over really well..." Haseo's head shot up and his eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as he realized something. He'd been projecting his thoughts... and, with he so focused on Treble... and her being the only living being around... She would have heard every thought. Haseo suddenly began to shake, closing his eyes against what he knew would be a violent reaction. A very violent reaction.

Post by Treble Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:24 pm

Treble's heart was breaking as she watched Haseo pull up his hood, not allowing her to see his eyes as he walked past her. This wasn't right, this wasn't fair. Why had she fallen so hard for something that couldn't be loved, nor have the ability to love in return? She shook slightly all over, but not because she was cold. This was the first time she had opened up to someone, the first time she had allowed herself to be taken by a man... And he could just shrug her off like she didn't matter. It killed her inside, absolutely killed her. As he passed her, Haseo turned, his yellow eyes burning into hers as he spoke. "Follow me, and you can leave." He really was going to let her go? He honestly didn't care... It shocked her so badly that she felt herself gasp, her hands running up to fold softly across her chest as she walked behind him, her head down, the soft brown curls falling in front of her shoulders and down her front. As she followed him, Treble became dimly aware of someone speaking, and then it hit her that she was hearing Haseo's thoughts.

"What am I supposed to say? 'Oh, Treble, I'm so sorry I'm a volatile asshole who doesn't know how to control his mouth. Who can't control his emotions and just ends up causing you pain and would probably, in the long run end up being a total prick to you'? Yes, I'm certain that would go over really well..."

Her head jerked up, her eyes wide in complete horror mixed with shock as she stared at him. Her mouth opened and then closed soundlessly, almost as if she was going to say something, but stopped herself. Is this really how he feels? She thought to herself as she watched him shake visibly. Was he shaking in anger at her? Had she done something again to piss him off? Or had training her been such a horrible thing that he couldn't stand to be near her anymore? Obviously she was much more horrible than she originally thought. Not meaning to, Treble whimpered as she stepped towards him. Her eyes were now completely full of tears, but her eyes no longer held the hurt look of before, now there was nothing in them. They were blank and emotionless as she stepped directly in front of him and grabbed his hood, throwing it off of his head.

"I want you to look at me, and hear these words Haseo. Or can you not stand the sight of me anymore? Tell the truth now, have you had your fun? You got to screw me, train me, and now is it time to break my heart and leave me? If you wanted to break my heart, Haseo, you could have just ripped it out of my flesh... It would have hurt a lot less than what you just said." Ignoring the stabbing pain in her heart and stomach, Treble ripped off the armor he had made for her and threw it behind her, it landed with a dull *plunk* sound. Reaching up, she fingered the collar for the briefest of moments before savagely ripping it off of her neck and throwing it at Haseo's feet. "I don't need, nor want anything you have given me. Never again do I want to see you!" She cried, the tears now visibly falling down her cheeks as she pushed him out of her way and raced out of the temple into the waiting swamp.

_______________

Treble ran for a long time, not stopping as her legs pumped her foreword. Random tree branches hit her arms and legs and face, scratching her, bruising her, tearing little bits of flesh from her skin, and still she ran. As she ran horrible gut wrenching sobs escaped from her mouth, tears that she had wanted to shed for so long finally came crashing out. In her head she could hear the nuns shouting at her as they whipped her back, You will never be loved! You are unlovable, a demon child, a nothing, worthless. She skidded to a halt at the murky water's edge, contemplating whether or not she wanted to dive in and just sink to the bottom. Is that the easiest way out? She asked herself. Trembling, Treble took a step towards the water and then quickly retreated back, knocking into something as she did. Pivoting around, Treble tried to scream, but no scream would come. In front of her was what had to be the biggest creature she had ever seen in her life. It had gigantic tusks and horns that looked like they could rip through a tree. Spikes covered the nasty creature, and as Treble stared at it, she could barely gasp as it rushed her.

She felt the creature jump and land on top of her, it's giant body crushing her small form. But it wasn't moving because at the last minute, Treble had pulled her red bladed dagger and gutted the creature's entire underbelly. Its blood seeped all over her almost naked body, covering her in the smell of blood and death as it did. Grunting numerous times, Treble managed to roll the thing off of her and stumble to her feet. She kicked it a couple times for good measure before turning and running once more. As she was running through the swamp, the only thing on her mind being Haseo and the fact that she was alone, once again, as she had always been, something reached up and grabbed a hold of her foot, making her fall face foreword into the mud, which now mixed with all her open wounds, and the blood of the boar like creature. Turning, Treble saw the hand of some...thing...grabbing her leg and pulling it towards a gaping mouth with rows and rows of razor sharp teeth. She did scream fully this time, her dagger flying out and stabbing at the things mouth. She had to strike a couple times, her foot now nearly in it's mouth, but she hit the payload after a couple tries, nailing the...whatever it was... directly in what she assumed was some strange head. The hands that were gripping her quickly recoiled, a small screeching sound coming from it's mouth as Treble crawled over to a tree that she noticed had a rather large hole in the bottom.

She crawled into the hole pulling her legs up to her chest as she did, her hair falling down around her bruised and battered body as she started to tremble in fear and self hatred. What was so wrong with her that no one could love her? What had she done that was so horrible? The dagger rested in her lap, ready to be grabbed and strike at anything at a moments notice as she wrapped her arms tightly around her legs and rested her cheek on her knees. Tears still flowed from her eyes as she sat there, nothing really going through her mind now, which had shut down due to the shock her body was going through. All she could do was whimper and cry as she closed her eyes and begged for the release of eternal darkness.

Haseo stared at Treble for a long moment as she suddenly moved in front of him, her eyes no longer pained... but dead. There was nothing behind her blue gaze, and the Freyalin felt a very real chill run up his spine then. Something he'd not felt in a very long time. He had set out, in the very beginning of this little endeavor to, yes, humiliate her into admitting he was better than her, but he had also had the intention of truly teaching her... but never once had he intended to hurt her. Truly hurt her, that is. Her words cut through him like blades coated with oil, burning him and stinging with every syllable, making Haseo clench his hands tighter and tighter until his talons broke through the skin and he could feel the deadly instruments actually touching the bones in his hands.

"If you wanted to break my heart, Haseo, you could have just ripped it out of my flesh... It would have hurt a lot less than what you just said." The Freyalin dully noted for a moment that she could very well be wrong. He'd ripped hearts out from people before, and they hadn't seem very thrilled with it. And then she ripped the armor he'd put his very heart and soul into making, a little piece of himself, off and threw it behind her, before ripping off the collar and throwing that at his feet. Skin paler than usual,

Haseo looked down slowly, watching as the collar slipped into the dank water he stood perfectly balanced on. They'd long departed the Temple, and now were within the swamps just outside of it. Haseo didn't even look up, however, to view the scenery as Treble shoved past him and ran away, leaving him behind without another word. Haseo slowly pulled his talons out of the palms of his hands, and knelt down, black blood dripping down onto the water only to make it hiss and bubble, before sinking his hand into the stagnant pool, feeling around for a moment, before he finally pulled out the collar. His fingers brushed along the simple leather neck decoration as the holes in his palms slowly closed, blue tendrils visible for a moment, before new meat and skin grew over the fresh wounds. The Freyalin Emperor's face was completely unreadable as he stood there for several long moments, not moving only staring at the discarded gift, barely breathing. He didn't even flinch as his wings suddenly and violently expanded from his back, black feathers rustling and a few stray ones fluttering off of his wings and about him. Again his hand clenched, but this time around the collar... the gift HE'D given. Not his prissy ass shining self. No, but HE, the red haired, snake eyed monster!

A low growl slowly began to rise in his throat, which quickly turned into a roar of rage as his wings splayed open and he loosed his fury to the mist covered sky, his very anger causing ripples in the water and a sphere of clear air to form around him. With one powerful flap of his four wings, the furious Freyalin was in the air, and his eyes were livid and wild as he tore off through the air into the direction that Treble had run, Zaknafein still firmly attached to his back, resting right between his wings. Though the blade, seemingly made of onxy stone, began to crack and crunch, leaving small bits of the stone flying off behind him. The pale Freyalin had to bob and weave through giant mushroom trees, banking sharply left and right, with pivots and turns to keep himself from crashing headlong into any one of the dangerous obstacles. He didn't plan a head long crash into one, not yet in any case. One though, seemed to simply appear in his way from no where, and, with a quick twist through the air, wings tucked tightly to his body for a bare moment and Zaknafein seemed to simply materialize in his hand he drew it so fast. The blade lacked any of the obsidian stone that had once covered it, looking as if it were made of the stone. But the truth had been revealed now, as the incredibly thin, clear, crystaline blade that exuded an aura of darkness, cut through the mushroom, and the Freyalin continued with his spinning motion with a foot held outwards.

His boot slammed into the mushroom, the giant fungus being knocked down from the force and the surgical like cut of the blade. The Freyalin set his feet evenly on the falling mushroom, and shot himself off from it like a bolt racing from a heavy crossbow, wings splaying out again to sore like some sort of twisted bird of prey. He stopped in the air, and circled several times, as his eyes fell on a dead rothe, one of the pig like creatures of his world. Haseo's nose wrinkled softly, and his tongue flicked out, tasting the very air particles, searching for that particular taste he'd come to know so well over the past few hours. His eyes snapped downward suddenly, pointed ears twitching softly as he heard soft weeping.

He wasted no time shooting down to the tree, also a mushroom like every other tree in Alulaylaranti, and stared long and hard at what he saw there. Treble, curled up and weeping like a child, with her eyes screwed tightly shut. For the slightest of moments, Haseo considered stepping away, out of pity, and leaving her be. But his anger was simply too great at this point. The angry Freyalin stabbed Zaknafein into the ground next to him, the water hissing around it, and reached down to snatch Treble from her little hiding niche, jerking her up so that she was right in his snarling, violent face. "You...," He was just barely able to hiss out, "DAMN YOU!" Haseo turned suddenly and threw her! Haseo watched as her eyes suddenly snapped open and went wide as he lifted her from her hiding hole, and he took no pleasure in the shudder of fear that rolled off of her. He turned and suddenly through her as far away from him as possible, sending her tumbling through the air.

Haseo did not stop with just that, oh no. He moved so fast, that after images were left behind of himself, only to come flying back in on Treble, and set his hand on her abdomen, and slam her into another one of the mushrooms, snarling in her face, yet again, "How fucking dare you?! How dare you accuse me of something like that? If I wanted to hurt you, I would have lopped your damn head off! I would have torn out your stomach! I NEVER ever..." Haseo shook silently for a moment, but for his quick and sharp breaths which almost sounded like hyperventilation, only to burst out with a shout, "BUT YOU WOULD HAVE LEFT ME! LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! You would have fucking abandoned me!" The Freyalin leaned in close and hissed with a vileness that seemed to stretch out into eternity, "You... would be like everyone else, in my miserable, pathetic, SHIT of an existance!" Haseo's eyes wavered for a moment, and he slowly lowered her, not looking at her face again, and whispered in a very real pained tone, "I... thought I had to drive you away... before... before you hurt me... like everyone else." His grip tightened a little again, as he bowed his head and his hair fell in front of his face, a small break forming in his voice as he finished, "I thought... you were using me." Haseo suddenly backed away from her, feeling like a damned fool, but he threw the collar back at her, hissing over his shoulder, "I've only, EVER given three gifts in my entire existence... A katana to my brother, a ring to my daughter, and that armor and collar to you... Don't be so quick to discard something so rare."

Post by Treble Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:25 pm

She had no idea why the hell she couldn't stop crying, why her eyes would not dry, nor why she stayed in that same spot for so long, and at that very particular moment, Treble didn't give a damn why. Why couldn't that stupid Freyalin see that she LOVED him? Why was he so quick to disc... Her thoughts were abruptly interrupted as she was pulled, rather viciously, from her spot in the mushroom tree and brought face to face with the very being she had been fuming over, except this wasn't the kind, teaching Haseo that she had come to know over the past few hours, nor was it the evil, demonic being that she had witnessed previously. No, this Haseo looked like he had been drug through hell and back on no sleep. His whole body shook in rage, his eyes were livid with fire, and his breathing was closer to hyperventilating than normal, in and out, breaths.

"You..., DAMN YOU!" He roared at her, sending a very deep shudder of fear racing through her body, and before she even had time to react to his vicious words, or his crushing tone, Treble felt herself flying through the air, the wind whipping her hair behind her. Her feet hadn't even touched the ground when she felt Haseo slamming into her again, this time knocking her into the mushroom tree behind her. His snarling face was only centimeters from hers, his eyes burning holes into her own. She could see his pain, could feel it too, under the anger, there was pain, and... a trace of fear. What in the hell is the fear? She thought to herself.

"BUT YOU WOULD HAVE LEFT ME! LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! You would have fucking abandoned me. You... would be like everyone else, in my miserable, pathetic, SHIT of an existence! I... thought I had to drive you away... before... before you hurt me... like everyone else. I've only, EVER given three gifts in my entire existence... A katana to my brother, a ring to my daughter, and that armor and collar to you... Don't be so quick to discard something so rare." Treble's eyes were as wide as miniature pools of cobalt as she listened to him rant and scream at her. Was she hearing him right? Did he honestly believe she...? Was that what this was all about? He thought she would... HOW RIDICULOUS! She caught the collar thrown at her in her trembling hands and stared at Haseo's retreating form, her head buzzing with anger at him for ever thinking she could use him, and shock at the fact that this was only the third gift he had ever given. It wasn't that hard to believe though, considering the armor and collar were only the second gift she had ever received in her 21 years of existence; the first being a sword from someone of her past. This was quickly turning into a very tricky situation, one wrong move, and she would push him away completely, but she couldn't just stand there, that was for sure. Mustering all the strength she had left which, after being almost killed in the temple, fighting the two... whatever they were... and then getting thrown like a rag doll through the air, wasn't very much, but she had enough to do what she was about to do.

"HASEO!" She shouted as she jumped on him, pulling him and her crashing into the thick mud of the swamp. She landed on his back, his face in the mud, her knees pressing into the ground on either side of him. She quickly reached up and clasped the collar back around her neck, not wanting to ever take it off again. With a cry of fury Treble grabbed the shoulders of the Freyalin and flipped him over so that she was sitting on half of his abdomen, half of his chest and stared into his yellow eyes, her cobalt ones burning fiercely with passion, understanding, love, and anger. She pushed her hands harshly onto the Freyalin's shoulders, digging them down into the mud, getting them both even dirtier. Her brown curls hung down the sides of her face and around his shoulders and neck, and her chest heaved with exhaustion, which made speaking somewhat difficult.

"Listen... to me Teacher" The word dripped with anger and compassion all at the same time as it fell from the angry woman's mouth. "If you think I would EVER use you then you are MUCH stupider than I originally thought. You are a man... a Freyalin of intelligence, and wit. To think that I, Treble, would use you like that..." Her voice faltered for a moment, raw with emotion, but she forced herself to carry on, even if the sound coming from her lips was barely more than a whisper at that point. "I don't... care what happened in your past Haseo. I have never given you anything but loyalty and honor. For you to think I could possibly walk away from you... When... When I..." She stopped then and climbed off of his chest, shaking furiously at what she was about to tell him, she didn't want him to know her real feelings, didn't want him to know that she truly loved him, wanted to be with him, wanted to be his only mate.

She paced for a moment, not looking at the Freyalin Emperor for a long moment, emotions pouring off of her in droves. Turning, Treble looked at Haseo, her eyes full of love, but also fears, fears that he would reject her. "Haseo..." She whispered his name, her hand reaching up and fingering the collar she had put back on. "Gods be damned Haseo, I love you. I love you more than I ever thought it possible to love another being. That's why I could NEVER use you, why I could NEVER hurt you intentionally. Don't you see? You great idiotic Freyalin, I am madly fucking in love with you."

He fully intended to leave then and there, and possibly leave her trapped in that warped room that took any form he wished. He didn't believe that anything else needed to be said, not another word. The Freyalin began what he felt would be one of the longest walks in his life, away from Treble, and away from whatever feelings he had foolishly believed she had felt for him. But, with a short shout as something crashed into him from behind, the Freyalin found himself occupying a mudhole, a nice one, fit perfectly for his face.

Which would make sense, being that his face had been the instrument to make it. Before he could sputter in the mud, he was flipped around and found himself underneath Treble, her thighs tightly clamped to his sides... and the collar now back in place. That stopped his coming protests, instead only looking at the gift with slight confusion. His eyes slowly slid up her neck and met her cobalt pools, the foreign and different eyes meeting each other with open sore and bleeding emotions that Haseo couldn't understand. And then she spoke, no, poured out her feelings and words to him.

"Listen... to me Teacher", she spat at him, not the words, but the very emotions behind them. The Freyalin shook with every word that followed, his heart, which he had long thought a dead, black and withered thing barely beating in his chest... Ached. It was causing him physical discomfort there was so much emotion behind her words, being thrown at his face, no, being thrown into him with each syllable. She couldn't finish though, and pulled away from him, getting off of his chest and allowing him to gently push himself up, his heavy armor weighing him down only slightly. His mind whispered, desperate to hear whatever it was that she so clearly needed to tell him. Whispering, his voice shook over the emotions he was feeling, not from her, but his own emotions. "When you... when you what, Treble?", his throat was dry, and his tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth, a quiet chill filling the Freyalin more than any death he'd experienced yet. And then, she said it. The words that shattered the world of the dark evil that he'd been for so many millenia.

"Haseo... Gods be damned Haseo, I love you. I love you more than I ever thought it possible to love another being. That's why I could NEVER use you, why I could NEVER hurt you intentionally. Don't you see? You great idiotic Freyalin, I am madly fucking in love with you."

Haseo's serpentine eyes darkened lightly at that as her words slowly sunk in. The Freyalin raised himself from the ground, muck and swamp water dripping off of him and set his quickly darkening eyes on Treble, muttering, "Do you know what that means Treble? Do you truly?" The Freyalin began a low stalk forward, towards her. "I'm... not safe. I could kill you without... no... I don't think I could kill you without batting an eyelash anymore. But I could kill you so easily, without even intending to. I'm a vile and disgusting being. How could you want something like me? You've... seen what I can become. A monster." The Freyalin sighed gently and looked down, "... You would never be happy with me. I'm cruel. I'm distant and cold. I'm insane, for spirit's sake." Haseo looked up to her slowly, his eyes not rejecting her as he thought they would, but rather begging her to prove him wrong. Begging her not to turn and run from him.

Post by Treble Wed Oct 01, 2008 6:19 am

Treble’s cobalt eyes followed Haseo as he lifted himself from the ground, her gaze penetrating into his mind and soul, searching for his feelings, yearning for that connection they shared that had become a blessing in disguise, although she wasn’t so sure about that. What if he laughed at her for telling him she loved him, what if he got angry, or annoyed, or… The what ifs could go on forever, so she pressed them tightly to the back of her mind, sealing them with a lock and key. As his darkening eyes lowered on Treble a chill ran through her spine, a shudder she tried to repress, but failed… miserably… at. It wasn’t that she was afraid, oh no, she wasn’t afraid of Haseo, not because she knew he would never hurt her, for god sakes the man had just thrown her through the air, but she knew there was nothing she could do to stop the inevitable, so she pressed fear aside and stood, proud and tall, albeit still not as tall as Haseo, but her shoulders were squared, and her jaw a firm set as he slowly started stalking towards her, his words hitting her like a wall of ice, punching through to her very soul.

"Do you know what that means Treble? Do you truly? I'm... not safe. I could kill you without... no... I don't think I could kill you without batting an eyelash anymore. But I could kill you so easily, without even intending to. I'm a vile and disgusting being. How could you want something like me? You've... seen what I can become. A monster… You would never be happy with me. I'm cruel. I'm distant and cold. I'm insane, for spirit's sake."

Standing there, the mud sinking over her feet, Treble’s eyes narrowed and started to glow a soft cobalt blue. He thinks himself so disgusting… so vile. How is it that he can’t see what else is there? she wondered to herself, making quite certain the mental link was nice and blocked, preventing her from projecting her thoughts into his mind. Her hands itched to touch something, to grab hold on some object of substance and hold herself steady. She needed strength for what was to come, great strength that she didn’t think she had, but it had to be there, somewhere, buried deep within her soul. Taking a deep breath, Treble’s eyes closed and she knew what she had to do. It was the only way to get him to see what she felt, what she hoped for, what she believed in…

Her hand tentatively reached out and ran down his cheek, her fingers lightly skimming his cold skin. “Haseo…” She whispered, his name sounding more like a prayer on her lips. “Oh… my dear Haseo.” Her hand trailed down and planted on his chest, sprawling out and resting over his armor, right over his heart. “I will… I…” Stopping her words, not knowing what she could possibly say, Treble opened herself completely for Haseo, letting every emotion, every feeling, every thought, pulse through her body and into his. The most prominent feeling was love, the undying love that was unconditional. Overlaying the love was compassion and understanding, a deep understanding of feeling broken and evil and less than worthy of love. She whimpered softly as she let out her fear, allowing him to feel all of it, not just the good. If this was going to last, and be something they could make together she had to be honest, so of course there was fear, because she was fearful, but mainly the fear was of him rejecting her, or making her feel like she was weak because she loved. Whimpering once more, Treble’s hand spasmed on his armor as her anger broke through, anger at who or what had ever hurt her Freyalin, because she knew he had been hurt, there was no other explanation as to why he acted as he did. There had to be something else, something he was hiding from her. Shaking softly more, the emotions almost to much for her to handle, Treble sagged into Haseo’s body and shook her head. “Haseo… My dear Freyalin, I love you… All of you. There isn’t a single part of you that I wouldn’t love. I don’t care what you can do, nor do I care what you have done, I love you all the same.” She looked up at him, her eyes brimming with tears as the thought flashed through her mind. He was going to laugh at her wasn’t he… He was going to scoff and reject her. She knew he was going to, but she’ couldn’t stop now. “You… Haseo… You’re not vile… Nor are you disgusting… You are… by all definitions… perfect… and I love you, I have always loved you.”

Haseo stared. He stared and he stared, and he couldn't believe as what seemed to be... anger?... at what he said about himself passed over Treble's features. The red haired Emperor felt his body growing clammy, an unnatural cold even to him. And then she was reaching out to him, muttering his name as though it were some magnificent thing that should be revered. There was so much... He didn't know what to call it in her voice when she said his name. And by the Gods of Heaven and the Devils of Hell, it hurt him. It cut him to the bone, though his face remained a carved work of stone. He wanted to run it scared him so badly. He wanted to flee and hide himself away in his darkness and vileness and hatred. He wanted to kill thousands of innocents just to make that hurting go away.

But for some reason, he didn't believe that ache that was slowly claiming his chest, slowly moving up to his throat would ease, especially not now that she rested her hand over his chest, on top of his armor... resting where he thought his heart had died. That damn black withered thing that had once beat so slowly, now pumping fiercely in his chest. Gods he wanted it to stop. He wanted to hate her, to kill her. He wanted to make her disappear to make these wretched feelings go away. But he couldn't. He couldn't bare the thought of even scratching her lightly with his talons anymore, the very thought sickening him. He closed his eyes slowly and clenched his hands into tight balls as her feelings washed over him. They swarmed through his wall he'd built, storming it, laying siege and ripping it down before he even knew what was happening. The wall of emotions floored him, left him breatheless, made his heart stop, and a hundred other metaphors he couldn't even begin to think of, let alone comprehend, at that precise moment.

The Freyalin attempted to open his mouth to dismiss what he was feeling as nothing, but the words died in his throat. Not only because she had sagged into him, but because he couldn't find the heart to say those completely dishonest words to her. Not after what she had said, what she had let him feel from her... what he was feeling towards her. Haseo's eyes tightened, and his arms slowly lifted from his sides, hands finding their way to her waist, remaining firm despite their trembling and light sweating that had broken out.

"Treble..."

He swallowed hard, having choked before he could say another word, and he swallowed his damnable pride, and forced himself to speak. "I have done, so many terrible things. You know of it... and yet... You wish to remain here, by my side. You continue to claim love to me. You... You let me feel what... could only be love." His eyes slowly opened at this point, the glow having dimmed slightly in his rush of emotions. "... If... if what you wanted was just something light. A passing interest. If there was nothing to come of this... Only..." He stopped for a moment, swallowing hard and attempted to organize his thoughts, looking ahead for a moment, before bringing his gaze back down to Treble. He runs the back of his hand down her cheek, "If it was just some fling that you tossed aside when you were bored with it.... I wouldn't want it. But... I'm... terrified of anything other than that. I don't understand how to... Even begin to grasp what I'm feeling right now." The Freyalin slowly rested his forehead against her's, his eyes trying to find her cobalt ones.

"To be with me... is to be with me for eternity...", his tone slowly shifted, as he looked down, "To be with me... you must accept everything that I am... and my daughter as well..." He looked back up to her, eyes nearly beginning to well, though he stopped it with a simple blink of his eyes, "If you cannot do this... I... My heart truly will die, Treble... because..."

His words died in his throat then, and for several moments, his mouth opened and closed, before he finally did close his eyes, and a single crimson tear slid down his face that hardened into a small red crystal and fell to the swamp beneath their feet. He said it. He sid it in only a whisper, but he said it, "Because I love you too..."

In all her life, in all her heart, in all her mind’s wanderings, Treble had never felt as safe, or as content as she did at that very moment. The moment his hands lifted, the second they rested on her sides, gripping with the softest firmness she had felt in her life, Treble knew what complete, absolute contentment was. If only she could bottle this very moment, bottle it and keep it with her for all eternity, then she might have half an inkling of perfection. And then he spoke, it wasn’t a grand speech, the perfect reply, but simply a word, one word that damn near brought tears to her eyes.

”Treble…”

Her name, never had it sounded so lovely on the lips of another being, never had it came from a voice with so much emotion behind it, almost as if the very word were the embodiment of all emotions all rolled up into one. She couldn’t help but frown slightly as he swallowed deeply, seemingly trying to cover the fact that he almost choked. What does he have to say that would do this to him? she thought as she watched him regain himself. Her eyes, their deep cobalt color watching him with their piercing gaze, roamed over his face, searched his eyes, his lips, his nose, back to his eyes; he was getting ready to say something, and she could tell by his bodies reactions that it was something… something big, huge more than likely.

"To be with me... is to be with me for eternity... To be with me... you must accept everything that I am... and my daughter as well... If you cannot do this... I... My heart truly will die, Treble... because..."

Because…? Because what?! She thought in her head, wanting to scream it to him, wanting to shake him to hurry him. So impatient her heart was to hear what he had to say, she wasn’t sure she would be able to stand there in silence for a moment longer until…

"Because I love you too..."

Her eyes clasped shut as soon as he was done talking, her entire body began shaking, her very being felt like it was on the verge of collapse. He loves me… He really loves me… Love... Her mind, which had at one time been a firm concoction of substance, instantly melted into goo at the thought of Haseo loving her. He loved her… Her Freyalin didn’t hate her, didn’t despise her, and didn’t think her horrible, he actually cared. That revelation almost sent Treble on a whirlwind of emotions; it did in fact. As she looked up into the depths of his soul, out of her cobalt eyes a single tear spilled out and rolled down her cheek. It fell into the mud, splashing directly over the red crystal that was Haseo’s tear, coating it in the clearness that was a tear.

Treble had so many things she wanted to say to him, first and foremost was of course she would accept Eindrel as her own. She was already half way crazy for the young Freyalin girl as it was. But a thought came to the young devil then, an idea that actually touched her heart. Pulling away from Haseo only enough to bend down, Treble held her hand over the red crystal covered in her tear and whispered something, whispered it so softly, so low, that not even she heard what she was saying. Her hand glowed a very soft blue for the briefest of moments before closing around something in a small fist. With a slightly shaking body, Treble stood and faced Haseo, her eyes lifted to his, love and… just… everything one could possibly imagine creeping from their depths as she held out her hand. Extended on her pointer finger dropped two chains, both long, yet skinny, and dangling from the very tip of each was what looked like a tear shaped crystal; one blood red, the other cobalt blue. Taking her other hand, which was shaking as well, Treble grasped the chain with the blood red tear drop and looped it around her head. The crystal fell to the center of her breasts, glinting softly in the dim light of the swamps. Lifting her hands higher, Treble held out the other chain, the one with her tear drop on it, to Haseo, a smile on her lips.

“Haseo Ithen, I want to be with you, I want to call your daughter my own, I want to prove to you that this is not just a fling, this is real, true, for always. I want to be yours from now until eternity.” Lifting the chain just a hair higher, Treble looped it around his head, letting the tear drop fall to the middle of his chest as she stepped into his arms, pressing her body tightly to his. “I love you Haseo... And I would love for you to take us home now.” She whispered as she hugged him, reveling in the beauty of their love, their hope, and the assurance of the amazing future they were sure to have together.
